First B Cares

The relationships developing between people are priceless. They are beginning, rekindling and growing in their relationships with Christ.

The First B Cares Ministry works to connect individuals to the church family and the church family to the world for the cause of Christ. This is done through reaching out to visitors and returning guests, drawing those who attend First Baptist into service within the body, and coordinating and mobilizing the church for impact in the community. 1st B Cares, which functions under the Connections Ministry, provides a means to help those in need within the church, the community and the world while helping those in the church body be the hands and feet of Jesus, practically serving others.

First B Family Connections

Adults who have chosen to make First B “home”, for any length of time, find ways to become a part of the ministry through service within the body. Many teams need help as we serve one another and help each other in the growth process of becoming ready to stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Ministries serving the FBC Family include:

  • Garden Give ‘n’ Take
  • Hospital Visits
  • Shut-in Visits
  • Sisters In Stitches
  • Thanksgiving Baskets

Community Connections

While serving our community, we reflect our Savior through connections with help agencies. Coordination and mobilization of First Baptist Family through Sunday services, instructional settings and Life Groups impact the community in partnership with Community Agencies and through the FBC Family serving the community. By partnering with Christian agencies and within the Church family, we help relieve some pain and suffering while sharing the good news of Christ. Numerous ministries are available to allow us to actually be the hands and feet of Jesus to each other including:
